With more than 380 domestic and international locations, 2,700 trucks and 7,000 employees, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®’s strong, fast-growing foundation has helped the brand become one of the nation’s premier moving services companies. TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®’s newest number to celebrate is its upcoming six millionth move in Torrance, California — an important milestone that positions TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® for even bigger things to come during the second half of 2016.
“It is remarkable to celebrate the six millionth move in California. We continue to invest and see significant expansion opportunities on the West and East coast so it is nice to see this move in the sunshine state,” said Jeff Wesley, CEO of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®.For the second quarter of this year, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® posted an 8.18 percent increase in year-over-year growth and holds an impressive 63 consecutive months of record growth. These efforts were recently recognized by Forbes, which ranked TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in the No. 10 slot for its 2016 Best Franchises in America list for its medium investment level.
“The entire TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® system works incredibly hard every day. When you accomplish a major landmark like our six millionth move, it’s an opportunity to reflect and celebrate on how far we’ve come. I’m so proud of our system and our people, and we’re grateful for the thousands of customers who have supported us along the way,” said Wesley. “When I look at the business, what we’ve done and where we’re going, it makes me excited to see what else we can achieve. It all starts with our customer service. We’ve made tremendous strides this year, and we’re only halfway through.”
TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®’s midyear point is marked by many other important victories for the brand, including the launch of the Value Flex program — a new and exciting long-distance offering that fits with the company vision. As a cost-saving solution for customers, the Value Flex service offers a reduced price on long-distance moves. This is a revolutionary new model for the brand that utilizes the professional service of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®’s national network combined with a containerized system and a proven long-haul logistic model. Currently in the initial pilot, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® has introduced the Value Flex program to Cincinnati, Atlanta and Orlando. Ultimately, the brand plans to make Value Flex a staple in its national system.
“In addition to our technique, what really sets our new Value Flex service apart is our commitment to customer service while providing customers with another option to fit their long-distance moving needs,” said Jon Nobis, Chief Operating Officer for TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®. “Our new solution not only makes interstate moves more affordable for everyone involved, but customers also get the quality service they’ve come to expect from TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® across extended distances.”Another Q2 highlight took place in June when TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® showcased its unparalleled customer service at the COPA America Centenario. To help make the three-week, nationwide soccer tournament possible, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® partnered to transport team equipment to and from the airport for the duration of the games. From California and Washington to Texas and Florida, 10 TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® locations participated in this initiative.
“The partnership with COPA America Centenario was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to first hand show our ability to create an awesome customer experience with a unique event like COPA. It also gave us the chance to show everyone what TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is all about — hard work, integrity and a never-ending drive to always exceed expectations,” Wesley said. “It’s those same core values that will continue to move our brand forward in the years to come.”
