TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® locations across the country donated thousands of service hours to their communities. In 2023 alone, franchises donated more than $3 million worth of moving services to people and organizations in need.
Giving back to the community is a big part of who we are, and has been since our beginnings. Company Founder Mary Ellen Sheets donated her first profits to 10 different charities. This spirit has lived on and was a big influence in developing our tagline, Movers Who Care®.
STRENGTHENING OUR COMMUNITY BY BUILDING PARTNERSHIPS
Our locations work with several impactful organizations, including Convoy of Hope(opens in a new window), Cheeriodicals(opens in a new window), Toys for Tots, United Way, and Habitat for Humanity. We also have our own charitable campaigns – Movers for Moms®, Movers for Military®, Movers for Meals®, Movers for Mutts®, and Truckload of Warmth®.
By partnering with local shelters, schools, and organizations to run these programs and give back to those in need, we’re able to build better relationships within the communities where we work and live.
Convoy of Hope(opens in a new window) is dedicated to making a difference in communities all around the world. Their main focus is working to feed children through feeding initiatives, community outreaches, and disaster response. Since 2018, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK has donated 10 cents from every move to Convoy of Hope, resulting in donations totaling more than $300,000. Additionally, many TWO MEN AND A TRUCK locations have used their resources to help Convoy of Hope transport and distribute supplies to disaster relief sites nationwide.
Each spring, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® locations across the country collect donations for women in need and deliver them to local women’s and family shelters on or before Mother’s Day. The annual campaign is called Movers for Moms®.
