The 2023 TWO MEN AND A TRUCK “boxtume” tutorial series rolls on, and this time, we’re putting a fun spin on a classic snack: milk and cookies!
This DIY boxtume is great for those wanting to coordinate a costume this Halloween, and the best part is it’s simple to put together. The hardest thing about creating this costume is deciding whether you should be the milk or cookie!
Let’s start with the cookie costume and then, we will get to the milk. Be sure to follow the video and steps below to get these costumes created!
Cookie
Step 1: You will need a large picture box, scissors, construction paper, pencil, string, and small paper plates.
Step 2: Trace a large circle on the box and then cut it out.
Step 3: With black construction paper and the small paper plates, trace around the plate to make circles for the chocolate chips. Once you create those cut them out.
Step 4: Take your “chocolate chips” and glue them on your “cookie.”
Step 5: Create two holes at the top of the cookie for the string and then you’re all set. Now we can’t forget milk!
Milk
Step 1: You will need a large box (you may want a smaller or large box depending on how tall you’re), white construction paper, scissors, markers, and tape.
Step 2: On the top of the box cut the two side flaps on a 45-degree angle. Then tape the four flaps together to create the angel on the top of the milk carton.
Step 3: Tape the four flaps on the bottom of the box together. It’s important to note you don’t have to cut these.
Step 4: Trace out two circles on the side of the box for arm holes and cut them out.
Step 5: Cover your entire box with white construction paper.
Step 6: Next you can get creative and add designs to your milk carton. Once you do that, you’re all set to go.
